Job Title: Office Manager / Property Operations Manager

Location: Koreatown / Mid-Wilshire, Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are a growing real estate operation managing multiple residential properties in the Los Angeles area, with plans to expand into multi-unit acquisitions and development.

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Property Manager who can take ownership of daily operations, tenant relations, and internal systems. This is a key role with room to grow into a senior management position as the portfolio expands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all tenant communication (calls, emails, notices).
  • Track rent payments, follow up on delinquencies, and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Coordinate maintenance and vendors (plumbing, electrical, general repairs).
  • Oversee move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and security deposit handling.
  • Prepare and manage lease agreements, renewals, and compliance notices.
  • Maintain organized records using property management software (AppFolio, or similar).
  • Ensure compliance with California and Los Angeles housing regulations (including rent control/RSO if applicable).
  • Support ownership with reporting, organization, and operational improvements.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hands-on property management experience (multi-unit preferred).
  • Strong experience handling tenants directly (including difficult situations).
  • Familiarity with rent collection systems and property management software.
  • Working knowledge of California landlord-tenant laws.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in Los Angeles (rent control / RSO experience strongly preferred).
  • Experience with evictions, notices, and compliance procedures.
  • Background in bookkeeping or basic accounting.
